Passed!

I just realized I had not given an update on the 3-hour glucose or Group B Strep. I passed the sugar test...but barely! It was only by 2 points at each hourly interval. And the strep test came back negative. Our next visit is this Thursday, July 23. It doesn't feel like she has turned yet, but we will see!

Spotless!

The house is now ready for Samantha's big arrival. Our dear friends Donnie & Tonia came yesterday and did a complete "Spring Cleaning"...from top to bottom! I slept better last night knowing that everything is in it's place and not cluttered...and dusty...we had lots of dust! And do not mention the air filter...wow! How long has it been?! Anyway, if you come visit now or after Sam's arrival...you'll see what I'm talking about...clean house!

We got so much stuff!

We had our family/church shower Saturday, July 11, and it was WONDERFUL!!!
These are the beautiful cakes that Tonia made...

Me & my belly with all those gifts!

All those gifts made it to Sam's room.
Thanks to all my family & friends for their gifts, love & support.

Getting Bigger!

This is our most recent ultrasound done on July 8. That was also our last visit - where I failed the 1-hour glucose test again! So, I've already done the 3-hour test and we'll see how that comes out! Check out those oh-so-pinchable chunky cheeks!

Only 6 more weeks!

I cannot believe we have come to July 1 and now only have 6 more weeks before our due date! Everything is going well and have had no complications. We can feel Samantha moving quite a bit at all times - night or day. Her nursery is almost finished and only needs the glider and ottoman now.

We have chosen a middle name - for those who haven't heard - it will be CADENCE, which means rhythm. It is very fitting for Brandon & I to use a musically associated word since we met in band and he is a drummer and music junkie!

Since my last blog, we had a 4D ultrasound performed. Here are a few pictures from that.
Remember to keep Brandon, Samantha and myself in your prayers!
