25 weeks and counting!

Today we are 25 weeks pregnant and have begun the countdown. It's hard to believe school is out in a little over 3 weeks and there is so much to get done before then! I'm looking forward to our Farm Day Field Trip and Field Days and MY SHOWER!! I am so excited about our first shower being at Mount Olive. My MOES family means so much to me. I look forward to sharing this wonderful event with them.

The nursery is coming along, though we've hit a wall...our furniture is on back order! Not the dresser, just the crib and the 3-drawer changing table. I guess Sam could always sleep in a drawer! I remember a picture my mom & dad took one time on a vacation to the beach. They let me sleep in the drawer so my granny could have the bed with my sister! And I turned out o.k.!

Our next baby doctor appointment is May 27. At that visit we will have another ultrasound and I will do the glucose test. I'm looking forward to seeing her again!

Brandon and I had a really nice picnic last Saturday. We took Abby and drove up to Metcalf Bottoms. It was a beautiful day! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

HAWAII was wonderful!

Well, we've been home for 3 weeks and life has not slowed down since we came home! On March 26, at our last doctor visit, we learned that our bundle of joy is a GIRL! Since finding out the gender, we have prepared the nursery - Brandon has worked very hard for the past week to get it ready - and ordered the furniture. I am looking forward to getting it all set up and ready to accept our baby girl. Below are a few pics of our trip and the nursery. Enjoy!
